What We Do
We connect and coordinate people who want to help—NGOs, businesses, academics, governments, sponsors, donors and volunteers—with people who need help in villages around the world through the use of mobile communications and a “smart” web platform.
We train Fellows to:
- Create the space for dialogue amongst villagers to create a shared future vision;
- Profile village needs online;
- Coordinate resource partners to work together to meet village needs and monitor implemented solutions via a shared web based platform;
- Share skills needed by Village Representatives and local stakeholders to meet their own needs within five years.
We harness technology: We created our own intelligent software platform to:
- help villagers have access to available resources, markets and educational tools;
- provide a communications & community building platform for partnering organizations, experts and volunteers;
- to train Fellows online; and,
- to provide an online mechanism to track progress for all constituents.
