How We Do It

We are seeking to create a scalable, yet flexible ‘system’ to create Regenerative Prosperity.

  1. First, we gather extensive data: all the NGO’s, businesses, academics, government programs and funding resources in a single country to create a ‘Country Profile’.
  2. At the same time, we train volunteers as ‘coordinators’ who become Village Corps Fellows, ideally in the country in which we are working, but who work remotely from a village.
  3. Next, Fellows (or anyone with local knowledge) can ‘Nominate a Village’. Fellows then contact Village Representatives to gauge interest, etc. If becoming part of the Village Corps network makes sense, then a local partner skilled in village dialogue engagement starts the process.
  4. Once villagers identify and prioritize their ‘Human Needs’, the village is then profiled on our web site and will always be in our Network of Villages - friends for life.
  5. The Fellow then works to identify a local economic driver(s) to fulfill and sustain the needs (likely sustainable agriculture) and to identify resource partners to work collectively as “Synergistic Satisfiers” of the identified needs.

Villagers (especially women) play major, active roles in solution implementation (they have ownership) and in helping with “Impact Monitoring” over time so we can all learn and improve for the next village. What we learn is shared and organized online at Village Corps University.

Our approach empowers villagers to become self-reliant and to meet the needs they have today without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
