Resource Partners

The Village Corps model relies heavily on experienced and reliable resource partners to collectively work toward a common goal as defined by the village. We also rely heavily on our Fellows and volunteers. Below is an outline of who is involved in the Village Corps process:

Village Representatives: Village Corps works with local stakeholders and partners skilled in community dialogue in identifying trustworthy representatives to work directly with Fellows.

Fellows: Volunteers who apply for a part-time, volunteer position with Village Corps for up to five years to work directly with Village Representatives and resource partners to build capacity at the local level.

NGO’s: Local and international non-profits working locally on development initiatives (e.g. water, permaculture, heath care, etc.)

Experts: Professionals with expert knowledge on water, permaculture, heath care, etc. who can work remotely and in country offering advice for specific solutions.

Businesses: Companies with appropriate technologies and solutions such as school supplies, organic fertilizers, logistics, etc.

Government Programs: Government initiatives available to local villages - we seek to ensure that all available government programs are fully utilized.

Volunteers: Engaged individuals and diaspora from around the world volunteering time to nominate villages, fund raise, research, improve our web presence and technological capacity and make connections advancing the Village Corps mission.
