Regenerative Villages
Regenerative – restored to a better, higher or more worthy state; created again. Mirriam- Webster Dictionary
Regenerative Villages are those that transform themselves to meet the needs they have today and to creatively adapt (or regenerate) to meet the needs they will have tomorrow, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
Regenerative Villages define the future they wish to have and then use their own resources – their natural surroundings, what little they have financially and their own creative resourcefulness – to build solutions in unison with appropriate resource partners to meet their human needs.

It is therefore futile to attempt to deal with environmental problems without a broader perspective that encompasses the factors underlying world poverty and international inequality.” "Our Common Future, From One Earth to One World".
